Creating a safe and secure environment
The safety and security of students and teachers is paramount both during the build or refurbishment process and beyond. The Sheerframe network of skilled fabricators and installers work closely with contractors to fulfil on-site safety and security obligations.
They also receive the backing of L.B. Plastics' technical support team, and can benefit from advice with regard to the specification and use of child safety devices, restrictors, opening mechanisms, anti-vandal and security mechanisms. Windows and doors can be specified to the security standards BS 7950 (for windows) and PAS 24 (for doors). These standards underpin the Secured by Design requirements.
